The Haras de Pirque estate is located in the north part of the Maipo Valley, a region famous for its great weather conditions to produce high quality wine. The vineyards are set between 550 and 660 meters above the sea level, by the foothills of the Cordillera de los Andes. Today the vineyards cover 140 hectares planted with both interntional grapes (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon) finding new expressions in this terroir, as well as local grapes representative of Chile such as Carménère. From these grapes were born Premium wines and excellence that today give life to our exclusive and award-winning vineyard. In 2001, after falling in love with the wineproducing region of the Maipo Valley and with the local grape Carménère, began the story of the Marchese Antinori with Haras de Pirque.
